In 2004 I set set off to walk from London to Istanbul on a whim. 5,000 kilometres, 2 pairs of shoes and a fractured fibula later I crossed the river Bosporus into Asia.

Photography and fly fishing are my two vices in life.

Between January 2007 and November 2014 I worked with Ben Saunders as his operations director and expedition manager. Ben is a record-breaking long-distance skier, with four North Pole expeditions under his belt. He is the youngest (and one of only three in history) to ski solo to the North Pole. In 2013/14 Ben and Tarka L'Herpiniere completed Captain Scott's Terra Nova expedition for the first time in history. The Scott Expedition was also the longest polar man-haul expedition in history.

I am now based in Scotland following new dreams but also acting as a consultant for other expeditions and adventures.
